A Healthy Lifestyle Tip: Stay Hydrated Always

Did you know that our bodies are made up of 60% water? Hence, the reason why the human body is dependent of water for its survival. In fact, water is used by our bodies in almost all processes it performs from temperature regulation to excretion of waste products. Due to this reasons our bodies also loose water in these processes, therefore it is ideal to replenish our body's water stores.

Now let us talk about how will you know if you are dehydrated?

  • Dryness of your mouth
  • Dark and lesser amounts of urine 
  • Fatigue
  • Very Thirsty feeling 
  • Nausea
Next, is to know how much is a normal adult's water requirements per day. It has  been recommended that one should have adequate intake of water amounting to more or less 8 glasses of water per day. But in some special conditions like diarrhea, kidney stone problems, while exercising, and under hot conditions. One should increase water intake accordingly. It is done to ensure that you are readily hydrated and your body's osmolarity is maintained.

Dehydration causes your body's balance to be disturbed causing your body to malfunction. So, it is ideal for you to always maintain your body's hydration state at equilibrium at all times.

Ofcourse! Water is by far the only drink which is best for health. A big chunk of our bodies are water as well, it helps cleanse our bodies of substances which harms it.
